Default Snow Day

Don't bother going to the stores, they're closed and they have signs saying out of Milk and Bread.

Huntsville City has many of the roadways plowed already - at the rate they're going, everything will be running normally tomorrow.

Default Nice Pics and Snow update.

Very nice pictures everyone... Maybe I will get something posted later today... here in Arab, we got about 7 inches. Roads are not plowed and you have to drive in the tires marks of the other brave souls.

HUH? You been eating cookies today, Randy??

We got about 6.5 inches at the house. Very nice! Sure was wishing that I had the Heep running though. The Caddy was basically a snow plow on the roads today. No ground clearance = FTL.

Speaking of the Heep ......... anybody ever try to bench press a transfer case into a Jeep? Not much fun, I must say. I am getting too old for this shiat.

Careful with that sled-towing. Lost a friend that was doing that back in the day.

That's okay, hopefully I'll catch that trail another day. I made the turn onto the trail head, but started sliding a little and couldn't get up. I backed up and got out to take a look, and then noticed the breather line to my rear diff was dragging on the ground - guess the ice must have knocked it off from under the fender. Looped it back on for safety, but when I looked up the trail for you guys . . . nothing. Not sure if you guys had shifted into 4HI or 4LO, or turned on the lockers, but you were gone.
Not a problem as I didn't intend to go too far in anyway. Glad to hear you had fun.

Below is Hwy 72E, which was very quiet compared to normal traffic (that's Taylor up ahead of me).

Quick stop for some maintenance. I like what Frankie has done to his driver side rear wheel - very distinctive.
