I don't recall exactly how long the coax was. I think the shorter cable you can use the better. Maybe 8 foot? That should give you enough cable to route it around the cab and back to where you want to mount the antenna.
You might be able to get away with 6 foot, if you run the cable straight back under the carpet - center console.

Can't really tell from the video (it's the video's fault, not my old eyes): are those the retreads, or your old tires?
I am kinda glad I didn't go. The rocks would have been fine, but the mud and water would have had me stressing about my air cleaner situation. I ordered a new intake tube last Monday, but it didn't ship out until this past Thursday ............

and anthony, yes those are the retreads. They worked great and i was glad to have them
