Hate to hear this Frankie. There are only a few things in life that I can say that I actually hate, and a thief is in the top 3.
Let me know if you find out who did it. I still have unresolved issues with when my TJ got stolen. Would be good to be able to give back a little justice to some d-bag thief.

I will keep an eye and an ear open for any leads in my neck of the woods.

Sorry to hear this - am on the lookout.

By the way, were you using any sort of lug lock (just trying to get a feel for the "persistence" of this thief)?

Not sure what the recoil would be on those grenade launcher type rounds, but definitely much more than say a .40-inch (10.16 mm) diameter bullet.

I ran the same thing when I was using the stock carrier. I got the idea from the same place you did Dennis (thanks Groundrat!) Now, I run locking lugs and a motorcycle cable with padlock. Won't stop everyone, but will stop some dumb@ss with a four-way from walking away with your spare.

BTW: Dennis, I found out something interesting about that style of lock. Remind to to tell you about it (not something to spread over the interweb).

565 is a mess. People sliding all over the place. Saw a van and a truck going faster than they should have been spin out with 50 yards of me. People are idiots ........... I felt bad for not stopping to help folks out, but all I have is a tow strap. So it would have been difficult to get hooked up to some of them and get them free.

Hemi is doing great ....... aside from the MPGs. I thought I would be in the same ballpark as my stock mileage of 14-16 mpg city, but I am closer to 11. Although, it could be that I enjoy the pull and sound from hitting the skinny pedal too much .............

Oh well ....... I will just have to take that trip to the gas pump every couple of days.

Yup, came into work at 6 and watched a Cherokee spin out as he tried to enter onto 565 and accelerate.

No doubt. Even 45-60 minutes ago, travelling 565 towards HSV, there were 6 more vehicles spun out or in the ditches. A couple of them had hit each other, and the police were just showing up......... There isn't anything on the road except under the overpasses at Rideout, and on the couple of bridges towards Madison ........... People are clueless.
