Your mileage probably took a hit from the weight of that bumper/winch as well.

Unfortunately, pretty much everything we add to our Jeeps adds weight, which isn't going to help in the MPG department.

both tires are mounted in that picture. Also the retreads are a LOT wider. Also those procomp wheels are heavy. I'm going to roll this setup for a while and see if I can make my dollar go further

I'm curious: How does a brick end up on the shore like that. I see bricks on the shore of Lake Guntersville all the time. Is it from some of the homes that got flooded when they made the lakes? Is it from people dumping trash in the lake? Is it some sort of conspiracy by the environmentalists to put walls around all of the lakes?

Woolys kicked our butt and we left early. It was so wet, we couldn't make it up the third hill and in the process almost totaled the Jeep via a roll!!! All the snow just finished melting and it was sloppy wet. Rather then risk damage to the Jeep we decided to leave. We had much more fun at Swan Creek!!!

...Bricks on the shore, not sure where they come from, my guess is it has something to do with fishing

I hear you on that. I just can't wait for summer, when the price of gas is going to go back up to $5.00 a gallon.

Yeah, the weather didn't really cooperate with you to be able to go trail riding. But the Swan Lake area looks nice. I may have to check it out.

we have talked about this If I could get my jeep paid off faster, I'd be in one of these. I don't owe a ton it, but unfortantly, I can't pay as much as I'd like to on it due to not being able to work full time. Soon enough though, the Jeep will be paid, and I'll pick up a used 5.0 car.

eff a camaro. I'm a diehard ford guy. I'm not opposed to owning a GM product, as I'd love to have a Fixed Roof Coupe C5 Corvette. But I think I'm probably going to give the new mustang a go eventually. I really need a truck though. I may off load some the fox bodies to get a much older 2500 truck or a duece and half

I noticed you had a GM HEI on the Ford engine in that picture last week. I can't say as I blame you for that though.
