Jeep + wind = fun drive down 565. Had a bit of a dance from the hood, but no real hood flop. Taking that spring off was the easiest and cheapest mod I have done so far ..........

I watched it as well this weekend, was a rather interesting show. Was curious what they did to the tunes when they said RIPP made some adjustments on it. Either way, I agree with what's already been said, youve still got the darn 3.8L in the Jeep. I would rather go with the Hemi or some other engine than supercharge the 3.8. Of course, I dont have the cash flow for either so it doesnt matter.

I believe they set up the RIPP to the 91 Octane tune, which I assume is their most aggressive tune. And they put down really good numbers with it. The Hemi's were both set up for the stock AEV tune, which runs on 87 Octane. If I had thought about it, I probably would have put some higher octane in the Heep. But the computer would have had to re-learn, and there wasn't enough time for all that.

They did have a slight issue while trying to disable the speed limiter on the other JK ........ which was the main reason why I got to do some pulls on the dyno.
