It was for about 10 minutes. Then I relinquished that title and went back to being 2nd place 4WD behind this guy that lives a few houses down the street.

By the way, what joints did you end up going with? I've been doing my research for when it's time to replace mine.

I just went with MOPAR for now. I got them cheap and they were readily available. When these die (and they will) I'll go with a better quality.

Default DIY Ball Joints

For yucks, called the dealership to see what they would charge for replacing the ball joints - they quoted me $560 per side for a total of $1120.

You saved some serious change doing those yourself - congrats!!

I'd help you do it for little to nothing. Although it'd have to wait untill the week of the 12th.

Thanks Jordan!! Was really just snooping around to see how much Denny saved by doing the install himself. If/when I do some work like that, I'll definitely keep in mind your kind offer.
