I'd probably position them more to the sides than the center to avoid the cross-bracing directly in the center. Of course, check the engine components directly beneath to make sure nothing is too vulnerable to water intrusion (although from what I've read about this type of louvered hood, water ingress is minimal.
However, a louvered hood does require some amount of prudence . . . you won't catch me rambunctiously frolicking around in water like this guy who just "charged" into this creek.

Yup, one of the guys I wheeled with out in Moab had them . . . absolutely amazing!!

This will sound stupid, but, I know they are really bright (intensity wise), but do they project the light out very far?

Light up all the trees well across a 150 yrd field. Projection is very good.

Is this a personal observation of what Dennis' new Rigid Industries light array does, or do you have another point of reference from a vehicle that is now sporting 40" KM2s?

Finally done and winch installed. The tolerances on the winch opening and also the skid plate were so tight it was a PITA to get the bolts the winch from underneath.

I have seen Dennis's personally, i haven't had time to hook mine up yet
