So I went with the Silverstar Ultras....a few things I noticed:

Even the package says these things don't last very long, so buyer beware!! It did say something about guaranteeing them for a year, but I don't believe that for a second.

I think people are OVERestimating the time it took them to go in from the grill side....I was very surprised as to just how easy it was. I have never worked on a Jeep, but I do work on military equipment for a living, so I am mechanically inclined, but this was SUPER easy.

I wore mechanics gloves so I wouldn't risk touching the bulb with my skin, but I never really came close to touching them, better to be safe than sorry, but if you watch what you are doing, you will be fine.

Mod #1 down......a bajillion to go.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, this place is great for a beginner!

I haven't heard any reviews good or bad about these:

Good luck finding one that works for you! I'd be interested in hearing your experience as I've considered changing out my headlights as well.

I have these. Little better than stock but still not adequate.
