I need GEARS! where to go?
The 3.21's just don't cut it anymore, and I'm looking into re-gearing up to 4.88.
Does anyone know of a good shop (also resonably priced) in the Atlanta/Marietta area? Or any expert advice on this would be appriciated.
Thanks

just do it yourself matt... all it takes is a hammer and chisel... (dont take my advice)
4wheelparts does decent work but is over priced.
There are a few local truck shops in the woodstock area... hell pretty much anything in cherokee county should be affordable and quality work as far as jacked up rigs and off road machines go.

These guys did mine. mild2wild4x4customs.com
THey're in Powder Springs. Should be relatively close to you if you're in Marietta. I think it was around $450-ish front and rear for labor. Very pleased with their work. They seem to know their stuff.

As far as gas mileage, it's not as great as you might think, if that’s what you were thinking
. Anywise when I had stock wheels (29s i think) it was pretty good, but now that I'm running the 33s... not so much. I feel like it takes a lot to get going, and I'm always in the gas. I'm thinking the gears will help me stay off the pedal and might actually help with gas mileage, once again
.
