Not sure what other place to add. I personally think we need to pick a location that is center of mass of those we expect to show up. I know a lot of guys talk about it being a great idea, but never show up. Seems to be most interest between AL/GA/FL folks so I cwould opt for a GA location even though it means a further drive for me.
I would really like to see some of the MS/LA/AR folks participate, but dont really hear them sounding off.
One of the issues is there arent a lot of trails suitable for a get together west of AL. This will keep some of those guys who would like to go, probably not due to the distance they will have to drive.
Honestly I would expect to see a few more than we see on other get togethers but not a huge crowd of 50-60 Jeeps.
Lets have a poll on location.

Looks like the above mentioned was the most talked about in all of the posts so far.

Memorial Day is on Monday, May 25th this year. It sure would be nice to do this over a holiday weekend. Maybe even wrap things up on Sunday and have Mem Day to go home, sober up and wash the mud off.

As for a name, the main sponsor might want their name on it. Monster Energy Drink loves this kind of stuff... Memorial Day Monster Madness, Red Bull Rally, Hooters Hootenanny, Budweiser Beaver Hunt, etc...

The biggest problem with that weekend is the Cullman Jeep Jamboree. I am going to try to go to Cullman and I don't think I would be up for back to back weekends for major riding because of $$ involved.

Is that the event where participation costs $200? If so, just wondering what others find so attractive about those rides (just seems like a lot of money for lunch, and some guys to help spot your line while on the trail - or am I missing something major here)?

I vote for Durhamtown. the place is just so HUGE that you would not be stuck in a line for 2 hours waiting to move.
