I would buy a portable CB, but I plan on installing one in the Jeep in between summer and fall semesters... and I'd rather not sink the cash into a portable one, however cheap it may be. Thanks for the suggestion though, I do appreciate it.

Any clue how friendly this place is to stripping parts down? I was wanting to ride door/topless this trip... Should I just leave all my stuff in Athens? or will there be a place to offload my doors without worry of seeing someone else driving off with 'em?

 

I'm leaving my doors at home. That would suck if they disappeared! I don't see any need to install a cb since I only use it on rides and this was cheaper than the hard mount deal. You can check it out tomorrow if you like. I'm surprised more of the guys don't use them. The nice part is I pull it out when I'm not using it. To each his own I guess.

how do you like the Banks exhaust? Did you do the headers too? I have the Gibson and it sounds like a cavalier with a can on the back. Really not happy with it. How much do you want for the OEM muffler?

 

Very friendly. Most people bring a trailer and leave their doors, tops and spare tire in the parking lot. You shouldn't have any trouble...
