Last week I was in southern Louisiana (St. James Parish - Donaldsonville - Gonzales) working on a project in that area and I was kind of disappointed in the showing. I saw just a handful of Wranglers; most of which were stock, was hoping to see what the South was bringing to the game. Not trying to start a fight here just my observation.

I also looked for a 4x4/fab shop in the area while I was down there and didn't have much luck (nor did I have much time to find one). If I have to travel down there again for work, can anyone give me a heads up on any 4x4 shops either in New Orleans and/or Baton Rouge?

Really depends on the kind of work you need. There are a few full service shops in BR. Other smaller specialty shops on the northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. Google Louisiana Offroad to see where a lot of the serious (and sometimes not so serious) 4x4 community congregate.

Not many Jeeps in that area. If you went 15 minutes west down I-10 you probably would have had your fill of Jeeps sightings.
Next time your in town post up and we can get a beer somewhere.

Not to knock anyone's taste, but those chrome rims gots to go. Most of the guys with anything modded use a local forum to discuss Louisiana rides/shops/whatever.

We are a rare breed down here, but the ones that are represent.
