I'm basically stock, too (tires are metric 33's), so I'm looking more for roaming/exploring kind of stuff. Since I have no winch, I'm more careful to make sure I don't get stuck (I have a hi-lift, but would dread having to use it as a winch!).

I'd be game for something, too (though I'd be hit or miss depending on when we did it).

Ok guys.... Looks like Durhamtown plantation resort is our ONLY option ... According to the map , its approximately 86 +/- miles from Macon ga..... I'm considering a solo trip to check it out. Then if it's worth going, organizing a group ride!

Just to let you know most places will not allow you to go out by your self there will need to be 2 of you. Also another place that would be the next closes to you is Morris Mountain it's just over the Alabama line on 20.

Just to let you guys new to Macon know.... There is a custom shop here in Macon called Creative Coatings that does lifts in house... Also they sell just about everything... My patrol partner just spent around 12k on his chevy with them and they did an outstanding job on his lift and numerous bedlined parts! It's on gray hwy just off of I-16 @ spring st.

I've been to Durhamtown. It's definitely a nice place to go, though it's messy if it rains. They've added some newer trails since I've been, so I'd imagine it would be fun. There are others in The South who have been numerous times, so I would recommend hooking with some folks who've already been. We should also make sure to be ready to pull each other out (I don't have a winch, though).

I'll have to check my schedule and see when I might be able to go.
