I live up in the area we went riding this past weekend, if anybody has questions P.M. me and I will try to answer them if I can.
Chris....
Did you get my long ass PM???
Let me know what you have!

I'm going dual sport motorcycle riding either tomorrow or the next day with a friend on the loop you guys did. I've been on Popcorn rd and have done a FS road near there but never went back that far as posted. Should be a good adventure!

That looks like a lot of fun! I didn't see many stockers in the group though... I guess I need to get some mods done!
River Rock is in my backyard! Its an awesome place, best for me to just watch right now!

I did the same ride earlier in the year with my stock JK and was fine (I also stayed with the mild group not the winch fest that Doug went on).

With a stock or mild mods you can go to any of the areas that the group travels you just have to use the bypasses and watch the fun.

LOL! You mean 93B at Beasley? It was REALLY slick that day. I pulled a lot of cable that day, but none of it was mine... or for me. lol.

These rides appear to be a big hit. The GA Trail Riders are going to do another ride designed for stock and slightly modified rigs in the near future. Hope we can get a big group together!

Anybody headed to Durhamtown next weekend? I think I'll be at Morris Mountain.

You are right I confused Beasley Knob with the ad-hoc ride. I must still be getting back into the productive life after the holidays.

Both trails can be run stock since aside from sway bar disconnects my rig is stock (even have street tires).

Durhamtown? I thought they permanently

closed their 4x4 Jeep trails back in November. That's what they told me back then.

That was my understanding as well. I'd make a call before I trekked all the way down there and was told no way!

No longer publicly advertising the 4X4 area due to tax and local government issues, but they are open, and have a big crowd next weekend.
