So anyone have thoughts on where to ride? Looks like the weekend of Jan. 10 & 11 is the most popular.

Gray Rock is approximately 3.5 hours from Woodstock/Atlanta area. Just read on their site that they are closed January 1-31!

Morris Mountain is about 2 hours from Woodstock/Atlanta area.
http://www.morrismountainorv.com/index.htm

Upon looking at the trails, many of them are rated 3, 4, 5. Knowing our group, I'm not sure we would be wanting to attempt some of these trails.

From their site I found the trail ratings..............

Suggested vehicle modifications for trail ratings.

Class 1 trails
1. Off road tread tires. Otherwise stock vehicle.
2. Operational 4 wheel drive.

Class 2 Trails
1. In addition to Class 1 modifications
2. 31" Off road tires
3. winch.

Class 3 Trails
1. In addition to Class 2 modifications
2. 33" Off road tires
3. Winch
4. At least 1 traction aiding device - locker, spool, etc.

Class 4 Trails
1. In addition to Class 3 modifications
2. 36" Off road Tires
3. Two traction aiding devices
4. Full 4 point minimum roll cage

Class 5 Trails
1. In addition to Class 4 modifications
2. 39" Off road tires or larger
3. 3 point harness for all occupants

Choccolocco Mountain Off Road Park is located about 2.5 hours from the Woodstock/Atlanta area.

http://www.choccoloccomountain.com/index.php

From thier web site.................................

Choccolocco Mountain Off Road Park is a 450 acre mountian range located in Jacksonville, Alabama. We have trails ranging from mild to extreme rock crawling courses. If you're looking for a challenge, you'll find it here! Most trails are spectator accessible, whether you come to ride the trails, spectate, or test your rig, we have something for you. On this mountain you can find some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole area. The peak of the mountain is at 1500 ft., with views overlooking both sides. On the West side you are looking at Jacksonville, home of Jacksonville State University, and surrounding towns. On the East side you are viewing the beautiful Dugger Mountain and other parts of the Choccolocco Mountain Range.

Lodging, dining, and parts stores are only minutes away. Jacksonville has many restaurants to choose from, whether you want to grab a quick burger, or sit down for the best steak in town, we've got it all.

I can only make one day and will be riding on the 10th!

Here is some info from the Choccolocco site!
We are open every weekend!

After going through the thread I came up with this list of the ones who said that could make it. If you are not on the list post up and I'll add your name! I also need the days your planning to ride, one day or both days!

After looking at the directions and google maps, I came up with this location. I could only find their mailing address not physical address to the park!
