I have a random question about your Tube Doors. I have a set of Gen 1 doors and the netting seems just way to big and it flaps all over at Highway speeds. Is there a way to tighten it up? If I wash and dry it will that help?

Shoot me over some pictures to rconnell@bodyarmor4x4.com so we can take a look at your problem and diagnose if need be we will replace. As far as washing and drying you can try but the material is mostly synthetic so it won't shrink much.

I read once on another thread some guy replaced the tube foam underneath the webbing where it attaches to the frame/rail with thicker foam and it helped.... Good luck

Wow! posting this here because of all of the PM's! these doors are available through most major off-road parts distributors! Since they are new only a few are stocking these at the moment, but they are available to drop ship, so If your in a hurry just force whomever you are buying through to special order them.

Hi I recently purchased the Body Armor GEN II Trail Doors (JK-6137) for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2DR. The doors installed without issue, however the retaining straps are too short and I can barely fasten them to the front hooks on the fender, even when the doors are closed. There is no way to connect them to the doors when they are opened to a normal distance. Maybe I received the straps for your rear JK trail doors. The straps measure about 5.5”. The doors were purchased from StreetsideAuto.com. With the door opened as far as the strap allows I have about 15" between the latch and the pillar. I can squeeze in but forget about rear passengers. I would think it should open closer to 90* maybe?

Question - what kind of latch mechanism is on the doors? From the photo I can't tell. Does it unlatch from both interior & exterior?
