OR-Fab NEW Rear Corner Armor
Mostly with Riv-Nut-serts and a couple of "thru bolt" spots. The pre-order pricing for the "Gecko Skins" will be $349 plus freight for the ones without slider bar, and $469 for the "Gecko Skins" w/ Slider Bar (I know I earlier said they would be $180 more, but I misspoke, that's the difference between the two in MSRP).
This pricing includes the light kits and powdercoating. Pre-order dates are being set for about mid-june.

Question on the license placement . I just installed an OR-Fab tire carrier and with the T-handle for the spare tire the usual spot most people re-locate their license plate to won't work. So if I get these corners where does the license plate go ? .. If it's back in the OEM location will their be a provision for the OEM plastic thing to re-attach ?
or did I miss that you've decided to include a license bracket ?

Normally they will be powdercoated (Wrinkle or Bike Black), but on the pre-order you'll have an option to order bare steel (and save some $$$).

Since you just purchased our tire carrier, I'm sure I can get them to fab up a plate similar to what they've done for me. You'll attach it the the t-bar handle and have to wire it up so that the led lights up when your lights are on, but that's not too hard. They are working on another relocation kit that will attach to the bumpers, so the kits aren't OR-Fab specific.

I believe the Bike Black is a 85+ Gloss coating and what is considered a "General Industrial Grade". Personally, I wouldn't like a high gloss coating on that type of part. There are "Super Durable" grades out there that would resist UV degradation alot better, for slightly more cost (5 years without significant gloss fade for the super durable versus 1.5-2 years for the general industrial).
If you're going with a single coat system, I would suggest two possibilities:
1: A textured super durable powder coating (not wrinkle) that is formulated for a slight texture that still retains good corrosion resistance. I've coated my CJ-5 grill with this about 10 years ago, and the finish has held up very well.
2: A 30 gloss (or close) smooth super durable powder coating. This coating will hold up slightly better then the texure, but avoid that glossy look.
Also, please do your homework when sourcing your coater for the parts. Pretreatment of the steel is essential to long term corrosion resistance, and many manufacturers shop for the lowest cost trade coater for their work - avoid that.
