EVERYTHING is in the prototyping stage so we have a lot of room to play with good ideas... BoneDoc helped us develop a great rear bumper idea... I'm hoping more folks can assist with the corner armor.

We have two light kit options we are considering. On mine you can see the oblong version, we also are testing out a round version. The Green JK going to Moab will have the round version. Aside from that we are considering a couple of different options.

1) Licenses Plate Bracket
2) Slider Bar

The licenses plate bracket is self explanatory. Good idea or not?

The slider bar would be a 1 1/2" .120 wall DOM tube extending out from the body about 3 1/2 inches and will be constructed just like a rock slider. The length of this slider bar is about 35 1/2". Hells Revenge has a couple of good obstacles which we know are good play grounds for testing this gear. My question is... do many people want this extra protection?

Thanks in advance for everyone who participates with input in this design.

I'm a huge fan of the corners and slider bars but one question... How water tight are they? Up in vt with all the snow and road salt, the body behind the armor will rust for sure. Any way to avoid that?

I'm curious about this is well.

I like the oval lights personally, and I'm 28. A license plate holder should be an option, even if that option requires directions on where holes need to be drilled or something. The slider is also a good option, but I wouldn't make it standard.

The JK Forum logo would be cool, but so would the lizard.

I'm going to be buying corner armor of some kind this year and you guys are in the running. Here are my thoughts:

- I love the slider.
- I'm inclined to say I prefer using the OEM fender, but I could be persuaded otherwise if the price point wasn't excessive.
- Round lights, definitely. All the other lights on my Jeep are round. Didn't we learn anything from the YJ?
- I would also prefer flush-mount generic big rig/trailer lights for availability and cost. You should include appropriate resistors so the ECM doesn't freak out, though.
- The only reason I haven't already bought something is the thought of cutting sheetmetal. Sounds like you're on the same page.
- I'll be using my existing bumper/carrier, not yours. Sorry.
- The JK logo cutout would be fine with me.
- I'll figure something out for the license plate if you don't. No big deal.

Looking forward to how this progresses.

Scott

Love the slider bar!!! I like both light options but I am leaning toward the oval ones. Will you make them with steel tube fenders as a option or just for stock fenders? Will you make a version for 2 doors where the front would come down to meet the rocker armor?

The corners look nice and clean, the slider bar seems... out there... I'd definitely go for a set without the slider bar and license plate hole so long as the cost is reasonable. This also leads to two questions:

1. I like the round lights but how are you sealing the hole left by the original rectangular lights?

2. Can one weld on brackets to the corners like with Off Road Evo's?

Oh and thanks for thinking of us two door owners!!!

Default 38 and OVAL all the way!!!

I like the oval lights. Especially if the bumper lights are oval. The slider bar looks good but either way wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. As far as cut outs go, the gecko would be cool. My jeep is black but it probably wouldn't be too hard to get some sort of color behind there during installation - if I really wanted too!

Love that there's no cutting involved. Depending on price point, I want these!

After seeing those at the Safari I was impressed! I like the round (40), the slider/grab bar, and no need for the plate relocation. If you go oval and the ovals were blacked out, I would be in for sure. Your guys at the Vendor show were great, I appreciated their insite
