OR-Fab Tire & RotoPax Carrier
Hi Guys,
I wanted to give you guys a sneak peak at a carrier modification we have been working on. Prior to releasing this item we will be conducting a pre-order sale through one of the distributors that sponsors this forum.
We have two items that are being released.
1). The first item we are releasing are brackets that support the use of RotoPax brand containers. We've had a lot of inquiries asking for this modification. To support the customers that already have the tire & can carriers we will basically be selling this items at our cost in order to maintain the value our the existing customer's purchase. The picture I've included is my setup with the original 85207 carrier and the RotoPax bracket setup. These brackets are made to fit into the existing channel of the Carrier arm, and will be U-bolted to the frame. The bracket finish that seams to hold up the best is a black zinc coat, and that is what is pictured.
2). The second item we will be releasing is a Tire & RotoPax Carrier specifically designed around the 4 gallon RotoPax containers. The carrier arm on this carrier will have about a 2 1/3" tighter profile than the existing Tire & Can carrier. I do not have photos of this carrier yet, as the guys are still playing with proto types in R&D. Those of you going to Moab this year will no doubt see a couple of these carrier being tested.

Sweet, this rocks!
I was debating which cans I want for my carrier. This upcoming rotopax adapter may have solved my dilemma.

This is great news. I did just purchase the Rotopax RZR mount to go on my OR-Fab carrier. I will probably upgrade to this once it's available however. Can't wait to see it.

Sounds like a great plan.
Question: when you eventually are happy with the design/testing, will you offer the second carrier option separately for those of us with an existing tire carrier?
I'm running the canless carrier and I'd be interested in a tighter profile carrier at some point.
