Secure it with a locking cap for the Jerry can. That way the taking the can would be worthless.

I like the Modular design like LoD, Jeeperman. For that I don't think the 900 bux for Bumper, tire carrier, Gerry Cans is too bad with another couple hundred for the basket. While we are giving you feedback, LOVE the idea of Shrockworks built in backup lights. Thanks for listening.

We're going to try and have a prototype finished next week. If all goes well ith that we should be able to let the cat out of the bag....

Its been a bit of a battle over weight and there is still some deciding between Aluminum and steel. If we go aluminum the weight will only be an addition of about 4lbs for a 2 tank carrier, where as if we do steel it will be 12lbs, thats without the tanks. Each tank will add 5lbs empty and about 30lbs full. I guess at that point 8 extra lbs isn't all that much, so at that point it will probably come down to cost...

I voted for both. But I don't think it necessarily needs to require both. If there are two holes on a closure where we could add a padlock if we need it, I think that would be ideal for me. I doubt I would not need to lock it unless gas is in the can (unless someone really wants to steal an empty one ).
