Does the fairlead bolt onto the front of the winch? I have a bumper where the winch sits on top, poison spyder brawler light.
I was under the assumption I didn't need a winch plate?
Any pics or insight is appreciated.

^^Correct, with the brawler lite, the winch mount is built in, but to hold the fairlead, you need a fairlead mount. If you order both at the same time, I can save you a bit of money on the fairlead mount. Here's a pic.
