I think if this was posted in the Modified JK section of the board it would get more views. I'm not sure if you are allowed to do that as a sponsoring vendor or not. I just ordered my corners directly from AEV yesterday and then ordered my Rock Hard license plate bracket and PlateLITE from you (your price was higher on the corners than straight from AEV). I would resell the corners I already ordered in an instant to get the set for the matching LED lights. I know its a lot of money for you to shell out (to have 100 sets made) but "If you build it, they will come" comes to mind.

Default almost forgot

ooh also 2 more things.

1. Would it be 100 of both 2 door and 4 door styles or just 100 total. (AEV claims they aren't the same part)

2. My interest would be precut for lights with no license holes.

I've read through this thread, and a question came up:

For the money these things cost (from AEV or anywhere else), why not have a body shop fill in the void and match the paint color?

How much could that cost? Then you could bolt the LEDs right on the flat surface of the rear-end near (but not on) the tailgate.

Am I way off?

Well guys, I can tell you this much, i was leaning HARD on a tree on the left rear corner guard and it held up perfectly BUT your right the tail light was in the way and got hit comming off the tree. About the only proof i can give you is the left over tree scrapping in the screw with a pic.

and just to let everyone know if you covered up the hole you are still on an angle on the corner. it's not like the yj's where you had a huge flat back to mount a flat light on. i don't see how even with a corner guard you are going to be able to mount a flat light because of the angle from the rear fender. i stared at them for hours and came up with the mounts i made for my led's. i did not want to have to do it that way i considered welding up the hole and painting it put you would have to do the entire corner and get rid of that angle to flat mount something. i may be wrong but i don't see how the corner guard is going to get rid of the angle and then at the top of the fender not have a gap. i would love to just put a corner guard and flat mount my lights that would be awesome and is the goal of my next mod for the lights but would much rather spend my time on something else if these corner guards would work. would have to see it first.

just my 3 cents

so those have the same angle as the stock fender so i don't see how you are going t0 be able to mount a 4 inch round led light flat. because of that corner.

PS i like the sticker on the rear gate
