This economy 150 PSI kit is specifically designed as a compact, affordable onboard air system that utilizes the VIAIR 400C compressor and 2.0 gallon. We designed this kit for those that want a an OBA system, but without the price associated with it. This onboard air system is affordable, by giving you just the essential components needed to have a high flow 150 PSI capable onboard air system. Do you have pics of this mounted up? Seems like a great deal, not too sure why this thread doesn't have any activity on it.

I don't have any pictures of it mounted since it is a "universal" kit. I will see what I can find though. I know a lot of guys will fab up brackets to mount the tank along the frame rail on the drivers side.

I will keep you all posted if I can locate some images.

 

Is this capable of running tools in small bursts?

 

Absolutely.... This is basically the same as a VIAIR 10005, and uses the same compressor. All components in this system are VIAIR products.

This economy system just has the essentials for an OBA system, and you supply the fill hose, and wiring.

You can pull all lugs off your wheel, and by the time you get the other wheel, the tank will be charged and ready to go again. Die grinders take a ton of air, so very small spurts there. Blow gun and everything else is good in bursts.
