Steve, is there any difference in sound on the stock position muffler vs. the relocated? If so.....which one is quieter? You really got my interest with those dyno numbers.

There is virtually no difference in sound between the rear muffler system and the relocation. The only difference is the fact that the tail pipe exits under the drivers side of the bumper versus the passenger side.

These systems are not obnoxious when driving normally or cruising on the highway. When you really get into the throttle, you will know the system is not a stock exhaust. It gives it a nice deep throaty tone.

Here is the youtube clip of our 4 door with the standard style system:

Let me know if you are interested in placing an order. I'd be happy to set you up.

I just took our 4 door for a spin with one of the the first production relocation systems on it and wow...It sounds awesome! I would say it is slightly louder than the rear muffler design, but no drone at all! It sounds exactly how this jeep should have from the factory!

Heres a few pics of it parked when I got back.

And here is the relocation installed...

A few questions...

What setup was used for the dyno testing. relocated or standard?
what would be the difference with the different mufflers?

Does the relocated system need any heat shielding for the different location?

Gains in clearance i understand... what would be some concerns about relocating... just to see the pros/cons? heat? exhaust fumes? performance?

Any input from anyone would be helpful... just deciding which system to go for...
