If you read the details, the difference is this includes the entire housing, including reflector and lens which is what makes the biggest difference. You can put silverstars in your Jeep all you want, and it will help some, but you are still dealing with the terrible factory lens and housing.

Absolutely agree, i have the silverstars, they "help" but arent the end-all by any means. brighter than stock yes, but still the same crappy beam pattern.

Thanks guy. Actually did read the details, and understand the difference. Obviously most in this thread really wants these, so I maybe should have said nothing. I just think its $200 for headlights, when the stockers with silverstars are bright as heck. Also, I'm not crazy about the opaque-ness of them. I just think the stocks LOOK better. Lots of people disagree though, and that's cool. Maybe they will grow on me more.

I have the Silverstars in the stock headlights.
Were they an improvement? Yes.
Did they improve the crappy beam pattern the stock headlights put out? Nope.

Do I "want" to spend $200 to correct this? No.
Will I spend $200 to correct this? Sure will.
Seeing at night AND not having oncoming traffic think you have the high beams on all of the time because the stock housing sprays light everywhere, not focused as it should be is worth spending $200 to me.

First off they are not $200 164.95

If you are unsure about if you want these or not wait until the first shipment goes out to everybody to find out what they think.
