hahah, no prob. I didn't know it for the longest time either.

Anyway, back to the topic of this thread and the more recent developments with these lights....anybody else get their lights yet? Similar issues? Or did they fit perfect?? Keep the reviews coming... I can't wait to get mine and I'm keeping my fingers crossed on fitment...

 

I wonder if they changed the original (factory) connector and David had the suppliers look at a particular model year and didn't realize they may have changed the connector?

I think it would help if someone with a 2008 and someone else with a 2009 would attempt an install and let us know whether their connector is the same as mine or if it's different.

Anybody with a 2008? 2009?

 

I have a 2008 but haven't got mine in the mail yet...if they come tomorrow ill let everyone know.

 

If someone wants to give my wife a 2008 JK I'll be happy to tell you if the lights fit differently

 

is this problem with the connectors just mainly in 2010 models or in all ?

 

The adapter is supposed to be the same as a H13 bulb base. Since 2007 to 2010 models all use H13 bulbs, why would the base change?

Looking forward to Northridge's fix. It would be nice to just plug these in without hacking them up.

crap mine is a 2007 aswell i wish they made it so it was just plug and play.....

 

This kit is a plug and play kit , we are going to look into this first thing in the am and like i said get it fixed
I will have a solution tommorrow if everybody would please sit tight for a few more hours we will get this fixed

 

Don't give up hope. I've seen instances where changes were made in the middle of model years. Until you actually pull your connectors apart, you don't know.

Just think, if they do not match/fit, you already have two solutions available to you.
I didn't have those choices - only one and I didn't like that solution so I create a different solution!
