On Lumens, you're correct. If you check the very bottom of the original post, I said we're happy with the LUMENS we're getting from this configuration.

IPF sells and markets this way (watts). Most folks don't know the difference so we usually discuss watts over Lumens, but like our H9 bulbs in the 900XS series that only pull 65W but throw about the same amount of LUMENS as a comparable 130W H3, so the XT42 will increase LUMEN output over your std H13 65W/55W bulbs without increasing your wattage consuption => your JK's computer won't shut them off because it thinks they're broken and pulling too many watts. Like it would if you put say our 4x41 Fat boys in there that pull 85W or so...

Long story short, it's a hell of a lot brighter than a standard H4 without pulling any more power. All for about $175.... you can't beat that no matter how you measure the output.

Maybe I missed it, but what is the time frame for the release of this kit?

I'm very interested too - will the lighting upgrades be available from the Northridge4x4.ca site as well? The days are getting very short here - and would love to shed a lot more light on the road than the stock lighting.

I hope to have them before X-mas!

I don't see the need for new lights, maybe when I'm done with everything else

I'd be interested in a kit. I am on the fence over the Delta quad bar replacement lights, but am just not sold. I need to do something soon, cause winter is coming and the stock headlights don't handle Canadian winter highway conditions to well....

What does your time-frame look like?

I'm completely lost at this point. I know I need new headlights, but there are many choices. The majority on this forum would say without a doubt that David has never steered them wrong. For that reason, I look forward to the release of this kit.
