I pulled my rear bulb with the intention of fattening it up slightly with foil. The metal ends are small and while wrapping foil around one end, it occurred to me that I was more likely to short one of the traces on the bare board of the bulb than to have success and I did what is the more obvious thing. Crimp the socket slightly. I don't expect the bulb to rotate now. Btw, much brighter when the LED's are pointing down...

Yep I was surprised by this as well. The light bounces around and ends up off or pointed the wrong way. Going to open it back up tomorrow to see if I can alter the stock prongs.

I have noticed some of the lights fit tighter than others. I simply squeeze the connection together without the light in there and then install the light. Mine has not moved in a year.

I have these in my 13 and love them, but now the maplights in the mirror stay on. Apparently some people don't have this issue, but I was wondering if anybody has come up with a solution?
