OK, as i said earlier, hood lift struts are on, updated SS relocation bracket is on, and exhaust is relocated

I opted for the 18" muffler, it sounds good, definitely louder than stock, but not enough to scare the bejeesus out of the neighbor's cat. at idle

I am very happy with the results.

Now, before anyone bellyaches, i DID take some pictures of the hood struts, and started to of the muffler install, but my camera battery died. So i have whatever i have once it charges up again. I will take some of it completed hopefully tomorrow as It will be on a lift at a friends garage.
sorry.

Hood shock kit. Yes, there is a shock on the drivers side too, but my pics turned out bad for that side, way overexposed.
I hate my digital camera.

This is all I have of the muffler install/relocation so far.

Stock exhaust removed and ready for new muffler/piping

Muffler gone, the spacers aren't on the swaybar brackets yet...

*thinking of going with the Dubs off the pink escalade... waddayathink?
Tons of room there now for say....

A tub enlargement kit....

...which is my whole reason for doing all this, otherwise i would have waited until i destroyed the stock muffler.

Free to good home, if you want to pick it up: One stock muffler.

Kits start shipping by the end of this week.

That makes this week the last week for pre-order free shipping.

Brent,
On the RubiTubes, do they come painted/Powder coated or just naked?

Naked.

Since they need to be welded, finishing would be a waste of money.

Looks like Mopar is thinking along the same lines, for Rubi-Rails

A customer pulled in with these today. They are very similar to the design that we're working on. Except the welds are REALLY ugly and they are in the $550 price range.

I have had the Mopar ones since I picked up my Jeep back in March 2007 (was part of the deal I made)...I will have to agree that the welds are not very pretty....but at the time you didn't have yours....

I was going to try to put it together this week, but it's just not going to happen. I'll get it organized next week. I plan to have folks drop their rails off, anytime next week. I'll get the welding and PC'ing done the week after.
