Poison Spyder Hood Louvers--Now for JK!
Any way you can make one for the aev hood that doesn't already have the cutouts? And is anyone else with a 3.6 engine had a problem with the engine going past the halfway mark of the coolant temp while riding in 4lo for a while offroad?
So...sometimes in 4 lo, but mostly doing drifting and donuts in 2 hi with the TC off.
I am probably going to pick one these up this week. question for those that have installed. how are you protecting the exposed metal after cutting the hood?
also, there are a lot of success stories in this thread. wondering if anyone (hard as it is to admit) really messed up during their install?

I had to buy a new windshield. Put tiny pits in my windshield from using the cutting wheel.
Felt like a dumbass afterwards.

I didn't really mess up anything in the install besides getting a little carried away with the cut off wheel... I over cut one of the lines I taped off, but it was only by about an inch and it was in the inside so the louver panel completely covers it up. Just take your time and everything should be fine
I installed one of these this weekend and it turned out awesome on my sahara tan. I used all purpose semi gloss black spray paint on all my cuts... I think it was duplicolor. For all the holes I drilled, I touched them up with a black paint pen/marker.
