Power Tank's Monster Valves
Have you seen these?
What are Monster Valves???
Monster valves are large diameter aluminum valve stems designed by Power Tank. They are the fastest deflation devices available and they even make inflations faster. They are installed in your wheel as a second stem and are installed without having to dismount your tire from the rim like other stems. They have a built-in Air Lock collar which, when opened up, lets air out at a scary fast rate. And because of its oversized core size inflation times are actually cut in half. Imagine airing down a 35" tire from 30 psi to 10 psi in 15 seconds and then airing back up in 25 seconds.
We have 2 different versions on Monster Valves. One is threaded (for wheels with tires currently mounted) and another non-threaded (for new wheels where you can get to the "inside" of the wheel)

I'm interested in the monster valves - but would like to utilize the hd gauge that comes with a standard kit to monitor air pressure as the tire is inflated (without having to buy an additional gauge)
I see NR4x4 sells a package with monster valves and it looks like the gauge has an additional valve? I can't seem to find much info

Correct. With the kit Powertank supply's the coupler to go on the monster valve and you use the standard inflator and gauge to monitor the pressure for both inflating and deflating.

Here is a link to an install we did on a set of Monster Valve 2's. Did all 5 in about 3 hours.

We have gauges, like you see with the Monster Valves.
And we have inflators (which also include gauges) that come with our Power Tank systems.
The Monster Valves are designed so you inflate the tire with the Monster Chuck attached to the Monster Valve and you monitor pressure with the supplied gauge attached to the standard valve.
It would be nice to have an all in one solution, but you can't monitor pressure while the inflator is being used. You stop inflating and check the gauge or stop deflating and check the gauge.

That picture is deceiving then. It looks like he's monitoring with the inflator while inflating with the monster chuck. But you're saying that's not how it works - need to purchase a separate gauge.

You can check the pressure while inflating or deflating but you have to stop to let the gauge get a reading.
I don't even know if you can use the monster chuck with the standard inflators. The system we have designed works well so we haven't tried any different setups.
