Glad they got there so fast!
The switch is only supposed to be lit when the lights are on. I remember someone else having that issue, I think the instructions are unclear or incorrect when it comes to the position of the wires on the switch. Switching the positive leads on the switch should fix that. I've contacted Rigid about that.
Let me know what happens?

Thin double-sided 3m sticky tape works well as a barrier too. I use it because I'm just too impatient to wait for plastidip to dry.

Lights are installed... Took a bit longer then I planned, but by taking my time nothing got damaged. Wanna thank Justin and ORW for the lights and fast service and also Forum member Jsboening for pillar light switch idea.. I got the rubber grommet from Homedepot.
