Default RIPP Long Tube Header With Diablo Tune Video

THIS IS THE REFLASHED ECU WITH RIPP DIABLO TUNING
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC5cBPm3bNw Hi guys - just wanted to post this up so we are clear about where we're heading. There's a lot of gripe about the cost of our header program and we understand the perspective - But we promised that we would be delivering a Header/Diablo combination that would really prove the investment

THIS IS THE OLD VIDEO WITH THE HEADER JUST BOLTED ON
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAhLZYsnbLo&feature=mfu_in_order&playnext=1&videos=B-4xj8KvCC0
  • Stock HP: Brown Run #001 is the original HP the truck made when we first got it, it produced 130-/+ rear wheel HP
  • Bolt on header no tune: Blue Run #003 is the same run in the video used in the Before tuning. It produced 145-/+ rear wheel HP and touched 175ft/lbs of Torque.
  • Header and RIPP Tune: Purple Run #010 is the same run we made in the video which we narrated yesterday. That produced the 230ft/lbs of torque and 180+ rear wheel HP...

Note run number 011 is a comparison run we were looking for with another truck, please disregard... we gave up and inadvertently left it up there.

Questions always welcome
RIPPTECH

OHH and for the many of you who are waiting on NEXT PHASE RIPP Supercharger Tunes - this should be an indication of what we've been up to and why we've been a bit delayed in delivering. Thank you for being so patient with us and allowing us to better our product... THIS NA tune was a huge jump in the right direction.

Wow so you're looking at gains of around 50 rear wheel hp with these headers, an aftermarket exhaust, cai, and tune? Any idea what kind of power just the headers and tune would make?

Living here in California, will this stem effect my JK being smog legal?
The system seems to be a good investment but smog is always on the back of our minds.

Guys,
Let me tell you, I can definitely tell the difference with my "seat of the pants" test. This is not something that you're not sure whether or not there is a difference, this is a BIG difference in HP and Torque. It really is unbelievable.

Hat's off to the guys at RIPP, they really got a fine product here!!

Sorry guys this is off topic but BlueJk09 your PM box is full. Also, you don't list an email address so we can't send a reply to your PM there either. Here's your reply. Please call us if you would like more assistance.

Also, do you know how the General Grabber Red Letters would perform in the snow amd ice?
Hello,

1. Ship weight about 67lbs
2. Ship weight about 60lbs
3. Ship weight about 79lbs

I don't have personal experience with the Grabber Red letter in snow or ice but from my experience if you plan on running a tire with large tread blocks like the Red Letter has in the snow I would recommend having them siped. You'll want the extra biting edges when its slippery and cold.

^^^^^^^Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the inbox being full. I just cleared some space. Any of the mods can get rid of the post. I got the info I needed. Sorry about disrupting the thread.

Ripp, looks great. Sounds like a good option: 50 naturally aspirated rwhp for a little over $2000 (headers, tune, exhaust, cai). Do you know what the package deal with the tune will cost?

I can confirm StevieRay's statement. My 09 is set up very similar, 4.88, manual, only 33's, CAI, Gibson Catback and Ripp Long Tube Headers. My Diablo Tune is a slightly different version and I want to try Ripp's or at least compare it on paper to what I have already...but This setup ROCKS! Your JK will wake up is an understatement. I am very pleased with this combination and my results are nearly identical.

Well done Guys!!
