Will i need to spend $700 to carry a 35" tire?!?! I see how this reinforces the hinges, but what about the welds for the stock tire carrier? This was kind of borderline at $500, but at $700 I'm thinking I'll go for the ACE bumper and tire carrier.

This replaces the stock hinges entirely. You can run a stock carrier with this for 35's.

My problem was with the stock carrier, I installed the re-inforcing brackets and had no issues until the carrier itself started rattling away. I was sooo excited when I first found out about your carrier ,But now I have to spend $500 on the carrier ,200 on the mounting kit plus $62 for the 3rd brake light bracket as its a law in NY for a 3rd brake light . Bummed out

I see threaded hole near the hinge. Is there a future gas can mount ???

$16 for brake light bracket, but I hear you man. I was also really excited about this, not really sure what I'm going to do now. Don't really trust the stock carrier. Sooner or later it will fail and then what...I'll have to spend another $200.

All the r and d that went into this reflects the cost.

But for a thousand you can buy a bumper and tire carrier, I'll keep saving.

If you guys could prove that the stock carrier is up to the task, I might reconsider my position on this product. I know there's a video out there. Is that with the stock carrier or is that with the HD carrier?
