TOTL JK Heat Expulsion Hood
#241
Thanks for your insight.
AEV had their hood tested by Chrysler. On the product details page of their website they publish some data about the temperature drop to be expected in coolant, trans and air intake temperature using their hood instead of a stock one. The same data has been cut&pasted in other threads here and on other forums.
So, leaving AEV to AEV, what about the metrics on how well the TOTL hood performs ?
Now, that's more than twice as efficient as an AEV and it's exactly the sort of information I am looking for : measured and comparable data.

I know this isnt exactly a metric like you requested but I just remembered we had this FLIR image taken a while back to show how functional the vents are. Fender liners are removed in this picture
