This security deck enclosure creates a large and lockable storage area completely protected on all sides. It works in conjunction with the vehicle rear door and lock. The lid easily hinges open and is secured shut using an innovative latching system. Lid and front can be easily removed without tools so larger items can be transported when required. The unique design is constructed from structural welded steel which incorporates a large weight bearing tray for organizing and transporting items on top. There are also two large trays on each side above the wheel well for addition storage and organization. Constructed of welded 16 gauge steel, and finished with a durable textured powder coating.

looks nice, BUT as far as security... it is the same as covering your stuff with a blanket, isn't? can you just unlock the rear door from inside? walk and open the tailgate....If thats the case then it gives you an extra 5 or 10 seconds of security..
maybe I missed something..
is there a way to have the tailgate to open ONLY with the key? and not with the power lock? I had a Camry that you could disconnect the interior cable.

I use a bestop duster for the out of sight out of mind factor.
Costs less, works with a soft top, is a bear to uninstall so it would add time to somebody trying to get into it, and keeps ones stuff from blowing out when on the highway and topless.
Also works just fine with the top up...

Try locking your jeep with a window down. After about two minutes, reach in and push the unlock button to see if you can unlock the doors. It will not let you unlock the rear gate without using the key or you could lock then unlock the locks using your key fob which is reseting the system.
