Tuffy Security Deck Enclosure Pictures
Monday has arrived and so has my security deck. It took just under an hour to install it on a 4 door with the hardtop on. Some of the panels were bent from shipping but I got them straightend out well enough with pliers. As someone else wrote, it was the passenger front corners that got the bends. I had to run a tap through the holes where the finger bolts hold the front panel in. There was too much of the coating in the holes to start the bolts. A side note for Tuffy, the instructions call out the finger bolts as 10-32 and they are 1/4-20. I only noticed because I had to go digging for taps twice.
All in all, I think the fit is fantastic. Now I just have to figure out how the dog is going to deal with it!

I hope to install our kit this weekend I will let you know how it goes.
Sorry about that I will make sure Tuffy knows what is going on.

David, Great Service thanks.
I had the same issue with the finger bolts. I spent more time trying to get them on then the putting in the rest of the deck. I kept thinking this cant be this hard... It was!
Only two bends. One on the Drivers side flange that goes under the seat bolt. The other is ding in the front edge of the lid. It is behind the rear seats, so not too big a deal.
All that said, I love the deck. Looks like I will have room to put some quickfists in the front panel, low, behind the seats to hold my Max Ax. Oh the possibilities.
