Default 07 OEM Softtop of 10 Wrangler

Will the 07 top fit my 10 wrangler? If so, is there any potential problems I should know about?

No. The top was redesigned in '10 to include cable. The 07-09 still had the clips above the doors, so the door surrounds are different. I bought and '10 top for my '09 and I love it. The cable top is really nice and easy to use and still bone dry inside

But if the 07 top comes with the door surrounds from the 07, shouldn't it still work fine. I understand it may not have the features of the 10 top, but I dont have $1500 to drop on an OEM top.

Yes. I have an 07 on my 10. I do have the typical leak that everyone has by the A pillar. No biggie. I only paid $200.00 for the brand new 07 top. Had all the parts and pieces except the attachment clips for the bows. I bought them at the Jeep dealer.

Please excuse the dumb question, but where is the A pillar?

A pillar would be at the windshield frame.

Ugh, not sure if saving some cash is worth having a wet jeep all summer. We just had 19 straight days with at least some rain so the last thing I need is a puddle in the jeep every day.

I would stay clear of the 07-09 tops. All of them leak like crazy. My 07 soft top leaks soooooo bad. Waiting for Chrysler to decide if they will give me a 2010 or 2011 top to replace mine to fix the leaks. I would get one of the 2010 or 2011 tops if you want to keep the inside of your JK dry. I speak from experience. I have been fighting with Chrysler for 3 years over my leaking soft top.

Leaking of softtops is certainly a common complaint, but mine has never leaked. Four years and it's on 90% of the time.
