My blower motor frequently stops, then restarts as it pleases. This began periodically this summer, Id be cruising along (my job requires a lot of driving) and suddenly the blower would quit. Sometimes it was for a few seconds, then minutes. At first, if i shut the engine down the blower would resume when I restarted, now sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
Anyone else have this? Suggestions? Its got 102k miles on it, wondering if I keep fixing stuff or?
I am considering trading it in on a newer JK, possibly a JL or a Grand Cherokee.

Will it blow consistently on 'HIGH' fan setting? If so, it may be the blower motor resistor... https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...+resistor,6557

or perhaps the motor or switch is heating up and cutting out.

That resistor on my prior Chrysler product went out several times, but as said, it will just blow on high.
