09 Sahara Auto Gears?
Hello,
I'm looking at buying a 09 sahara 2dr and I would like to know if there is any way of telling what gears come in the saharas? It doesnt have the tow hitch if that matters? 3.21 or 3.73?

Edit to add - I think there's a marking on the read diff cover.

I have never found any markings or tag on a JK diff indicating the gear ratio.

Nah, only 6-speeds come stock with the 3.21s these days; some early build ('06 & some '07s) JK autos came with the 3.21s but they were such dogs to drive due to the high OD gearing that 3.73 has been the standard ratio (except for Rubis & tow-pack equipped vehicles) offered with the auto box since '08 anyway as far as I know. For an automatic JK, & particularly the heavier 4-door Unlimited you'd want to be looking at optioning 4.10s if you were buying one new.
