So, while cleaning the mud from this week's two-trackin, I had my hood up and noticed that I actually have a hood light. Its a surprise to me since I've never seen it on.
Before I go buying some expensive-ass replacement light (6 month old fog light was $45 to replace ) is there something else I should look for? According to some posts on the subject... older JK's were wired for it and called for it in the build but were ,issing the actual light.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Now I'm definitely going to have to pop the hood and look.... I have '10 also and have never noticed a light.

 

Sorry, i didn't highlite it in the pic but its the black line going up with the white-looking top piece. Found it on the driver's side right by the clip for the washer fluid. Its definitely a light but doesn't look cooked.

No light on mine... But the underside of my hood is lined with mud! I applied it myself.
