I agree, I have had this tranny in 3 different jeeps now, including a tj, and it just plain seems to be a noisy tranny, I have never had a problem out of any of my jeeps with this transmission though! I have had it come out of gear, rather violently a few times, but it seems if you just make sure to shift it all the way into whatever gear, and make sure to shift it firmly the problem does not happen, just those lazy shifts was the only time i have had the issue.

I hope to god it never does. I owned a 2008 Jetta and that was the worst vehicle I've ever owned. The clutch was a nightmare, and the syncro's kept burning up. Namely 3rd gear.

Then there were the "your car will burn down" recalls. Seats, fuel pump, fuel line, radio. ect ect ect.
