11 Rubicon almost always 19.25 mpg. Thats pen and paper not from the dash. Stock except with bumpers and a winch.

Average 22 to 23 MPG as calculated by hand. Stock JKU, auto 3:73's, and 85% all highway, light stop and go, and top down as much as possible.

-nice and easy on the skinny
-change your departure time for less traffic, or try a different way to get to work
-100KP/hr = 1,800 RPM dont exceed usless you are passing. (slow down enjoy the ride in the Jeep!!!!)
-when safe to do so, I coast
-tire pressure up

Hope that helps

Webe is correct. Technique is the biggest factor. I coast off the highway in all my vehicles only to watch others hit their brakes at 70mph while on the off ramp with their cruise still engaged. Stoplight to stop light is the same, why speed upto 45mph when you can see the next light is red. I drive 80% highway and Ive always been able to reach the EPA highway numbers or better on all my rides all the time and i usually cruise at 70mph. If you ever drive a car like a GM product with an instant mpg display it will make you a much better driver.

You really can't engine mod a jeep into better gas mileage. For those of you who assume a CAI will help go over to K n N's website and find where it says any of their products increase mileage. O2 sensors dictate the AF ratio, no matter what the flow you're gonna be at 14.7. How much of that's effectively burned in the chamber makes newer motors more efficient. You can mod your wheels and tires though. People whine about SRA's but they have a super low rolling resistance. Coupled with some forged 16-17 inch wheels would be quite the package. Drag racers(mustang/camaro) often change out heavy factory wheels for forged units and can pick up 1-2 tenths in the quarter mile. That's like a 10-20hp bump. Mpgs, braking distances and ride are also improved.
