Default 19/60 coil swap/rake question

I know there's a lot of threads about coil swaps, but I couldn't find anything about what putting 19/60 coils on your stock jk will do to the rake.

I hear a lot of people say they added 1 1/4 inches lift in the front and 1 3/4 inch in the rear, but won't that increase the already raked front?

Also, if anyone wants to weigh in as to whether longer sway bar links would be a good idea with this swap, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sway bar swap wouldn't be needed, but really wouldn't hurt either guess it would depend on how much lift you actually get. When I did the 14/54 to 18/59 I got 1 1/2 i n the front 1 maybe 1 1/4 in the back and it sat almost completely level

Agreed^^^ I did the same thing and if it's not level it's really dang close. Plus, you might want the JKS swaybar quick disconnects later down the road anyways... Eitherway, I hope this helps you out if not I can show you some photos of its stance.

Thanks for replies everyone. Is there a reason you guys went with 18/59 instead of 19/60? Would I be better off doing it that way?

Mad Dog 21, yes, if you have a pic that would be most helpful.

Thanks again guys!

my understanding is 19/60 are a rare bird but 18/59 are pretty common. My advice is its ok to start with either swap but eventually if you start putting a winch or armor on, it's all going to sag back to a raked look anyways. In two years you'll be looking for a front spring upgrade or a fresh set of 18/19

I ran the 19/60 spring setup with a 3" spacer up front and 2" in rear. It sat level with front & rear LoD full width bumpers & winch up front. Welcome to the forum.

I have TeraFlex leveling pucks with 19/61 springs off a 4dr Rubicon. (I know I thought 60 was as high as they went) That is 2" spacer in the front and 1" in the back. With the springs and pucks it must be about a total of 2.5". That is with a winch and bumper. She sits pretty level.

I did the 19/60s on my JKU - seems about the same rake as stock with a slight rake. After it settled - probably about a 1/2-3/4 taller front and rear and drives better. I didn't want to lose the Rake so it worked perfectly for me.

For reference 18/59 springs and TF leveling kit 2" front 1" rear.
