I'm curious as to if the rear windows are tinted with film or is the glass itself tinted. The reason I ask is because i tried removing the dealer papers from the window and it didn't work so well. I would like to know in advance before I take a razor blade to the remaining tape on the window.

 

Both my '08 and now 2012, the glasses are tinted itself from factory...

 

Roll the window down slightly. You should e able to see at the very top of the glass whether there is a film or not. I use the fingernail test too, run my fingernail down from the very top of the glass to see if there is film or not. Hope that helps.
