Default 2011 Fuel Filter

Hi everyone. Does anybody know where or if there's a fuel filter on the 2011 wranglers? I have a jk and a jku, both are 2011 and I can't find a fuel filter any where on either! I traced the fuel lines with no luck and the owners manual says nothing about ever changing one.

Chrysler is pretty fond of putting them along with the pump, in the tank itself (god knows why...). I don't know for sure if that's where it resides but that is where I would start looking.

Good to know! Guess that's why there's nothing in the owners manual and why I can't find it! Well, this confirms it. I think engineers hate do-it-yourself mechanics. But, I guess it makes some sense. If you had some particulate in your tank you'd want to catch it before it goes into the pump.
