2011 Jeep Rubicon Radio Trim Warp Issue?
Mine is bowing too, I thought it might be something behind the dash, but I'm glad i found this thread before i started to investigate myself. I'll probably just make an appointment at my dealership or just drop by at 2am and have them look at it right then and there. Gotta love 24 hour service.
I thought he was braging about his dads new ford fusion.. lol
Mine isnt bowed out there yet but in the lower corner I was sticking out... Just wasnt clipped all the way on. Does this problem apper to be only the radio units or is it also happening on the nav ones as well.
They are replacing it! (Part just came in) They had to take a picture and have corp. approve it! LoL Seriosly...
Just waiting to schedule the install... Will probably see if I can zippy the back or something after they warranty it.

There is a beefy wiring harness behind that switch. If not careful this harness tends to catch on the alloy instrument panel reinforcement. It is very possible that this harness, when routed poorly, generates enough constant force from behind on that thin part of the bezel to cause it to deform. Makes sense that it would advance quicker in very warm regions.

lol
