Default 2012 2 door - tore off my rear license bracket off-road...

Hello.

the only reason my plate+bracket didn't get totally left behind and lost in the woods was the power cable for the license plate light.

the bracket is staying on just barely! I haven't even called the dealer because I know it will be a couple hundred bucks with the plate lamp being part of the whole structure...

I thought I would check on here to see if anyone had a source for oem parts like the license plate holder?

I bought one for my 2010 a while ago after someone hit it. I don't think it was that bad like 80 bucks or something. Just look on ebay also, Im pretty sure you can get one for cheap.

Try a wrecking yard or three. JKs are common enough you should be able to find one.

Many, many aftermarket bumpers provide for repositioning the license plate holder. You should be able to find one for free, or at most a couple bucks and shipping from someone who removed theirs.

I'd take advantage of it and move the plate. Won't be the last time that thing comes off! There is a cool relocation kit that mounts it on the spare tire and then there is a deletion plug to cover the stock hole.

Do you happen to have a link to that?
