It has been a couple of months, is the ticking problem gone still? Is the power what it should be (still)? Just looking for an update, you've been great for keeping "us" up to date. Hope it's all fixed.

What do you think now?

Default dreaded ticking noise

My husband and I bought my dream car, A 2012 Jeep wrangler sport march 26 2012 started the ticking noise about 800 mile marker, took her in and was told that is normal they all sound like that if your check engine light comes on please give us a call. now around the 1000 mark check engine light came on, brought her in and it stored a code that said number 6 cylinder miss fired. Their fix was "it just needed a soft wear update". less than 24 hours later light is on again. Next Tues. she goes in again to be looked at. :/ I politely asked for a Leak down test at the first check engine light and the gentlemen laughed and said "google mechanic.. If it needs it our tech will do it."

Build Date is 9/11 :/

I have read a lot of you guys are having the same issue just wondering how many of us are having it happen? Also, about how long it took for it to be really fixed?

~Thanks

So what prompted you to take it in to get it repaired? What symptoms did you have?
