2012 hardtop tint

I don't know... whats odd is I'm using the BYO page and still don't see the option although I did find the price on another forum ($300) so I'm assuming it does exist... but don't see it no matter which model I choose.
I even tried your ZIP and I don't see a separate option. For the hard top package for both the 2 door and 4 door it lists:
Delete Sunrider Soft Top
Freedom Panel Storage Bag
Rear Window Defroster
Rear Window Wiper / Washer
Tinted Rear Quarter and Liftgate Windows

My '08 X with S package has no tint on the hardtop windows even though it says deep tinted glass on the sticker. I never thought of it until it was to late 
but I wonder if Chrysler would have paid for a tinit job since I didn't get what was ordered.

Yep its an option from the dealer.
I went with it because its much higher quality than having a local shop put a film on your windows.
The factory option uses tinted glass that is never going to bubble, peel, fade, etc etc.
